CAT 09 - Experiences

Well I have nt been a soldier in any of the World Wars, but i feel like being one today.
Why ? Because am a part of some 2 Lakh strong Fauz of CAT aspirants ! With each one of us alloted one specific date at some specific front at some part of the country..

The NEWS (or rumours) of servers crashing down accross the country sends shivers down the spine and makes me feel enemy planes hovering over the heads and bombing randomly.. We can just hope that our Bunker(the desitined Computer terminals) does not meet an unfortunate fate.

As if this was not over, the soldiers who have already seen action, have been debarred from sharing their information and valuable inputs regarding number of enemies, their difficulty level, their origin and so on. And the rest of us, who have not yet gone to fight, share an unknown fear of being watched by some IIM SECRET SERVICES, threatining us of coutmartial or even imprisionment.

Still, the brave aspirants, share amongst themselves, the valuable and much wanted Experiences.

In a Nut shell...

1) Dont trust your arsenols blindly, it may malfunction. Clicking a seemingly harmless Review button may prove fatal and end ur test once for all.
2) Keep good amount of dry fruits .. u may have to stay in the trenches for as long as 7 hours.
3)If the PC shuts down suddenly, dont panic. Solve the active question in mind. YOu are actually getting some more valuable minutes.
4)Be prepared for a talkitive staff. Even if they distract and disturb you, your actual enemy still remains the Question paper. You have counted bullets. (minutes)
5) Negative marking exists, even if it isnt mentioned in the Question paper specifically.
And the Last..
6) Remember what Gita Says,
" Your right is to fight the exam only, not to be obsessed with a perfect Scorecard.
